Alexandre Najjar´s "The School of War"
I just saw Alexandre Najjar interviewed on Swedish television in regard to his book "The School of War". Najjar, who was eight years old when the war in Lebanon broke out and twenty-three when it ended, mentioned how he appreciates the things in life that we in the West, in times of peace, tend to take very much for granted, e.g. electricity and water.

The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale
Today I would like to share with you one of the most powerful audio recordings I´ve ever heard. The recording I´m talking about here was written and narrated by Earl Nightingale and it´s the only recorded message to ever receive a Gold Record and it´s named The Strangest Secret.
In this recorded message from 1956 you will be reminded about how important and powerful your thoughts are and how marvelous your mind really is.
You can get a free copy of this recording from Mark Victor Hansen.

10 Reasons to Take Us Back to School
Time stays long enough for those who use it.
Leondardo Da Vinci
Sarah Parmenter has written a nice post and gives us "10 Reasons to Take Us Back to School".
Lately I´ve been thinking about my old school days and how much I got to experience and do after the school day was done. Usually, after school, I went out to the golf course and practiced and despite this, had enough time to do my homework and relax a bit.
Being adult with responsabilities, time never seems to be enough for all the things I would like to do. Leonardo might have been wrong! ;)

Be Generous With Your Time, Love and Life
Today I read Jason James´ post "HEY YOU! Remember To Give!". It´s a good read and keeps you reminded about people that for the moment are less fortunate than you are.
Not long ago I mentioned my gratitude for life in my post "How to Face Economic Challenges When Times Are "Hard"" and I share many of the points Jason is making.
My gratitude for life increased significantly last year during a few visits to hospitals to see family and friends. During my visits I saw people from all ages with bodies that weren´t functioning that well, and in some cases very severe. I once more got reminded of how fortunate life has been to me, since I´ve never been sick with more than minor things. I often extend my gratitude to pray for thoose in need.
Above is a scene from "ER" that I saw a few years back. I then wrote the words "Be Generous With Your Time, Love and Life" down on a piece of paper. It´s a good reminder on how to live!

The World of Tea the Nordic Way
Via Made By Suzi I found this stunning graphic work for the packaging of Brunkullans tea, "the world of tea the Nordic way".
As a tea-lover I soon hope to be able to taste it and not just admire the visual concept, although that keeps me satisfied as well.

How to Face Economic Challenges When Times Are "Hard"
Currently my life is in a bit of turmoil due to economic challenges. I have no doubt that things will go well in the end, but it puts a strain both mentally and physically. I´m blessed with so many great things in life that money can't buy. Sometimes it feels unreal to be blessed with so much good. Sadly, the economic challenges I´ve been facing for a period of time overshadow all of this.
If you´re in a similar situation like mine, it might help to read Jim Donovan´s articles It Takes Trust and Faith to Attract What You Want and Celebrate Your Life. Also take some time to watch Bob Proctor talk about goal cards.
Earlier I have featured William Buhlman´s newsletters about manifesting.

More Important than Money - Paying Myself First With My Time
The morning breeze has secrets to tell you. Do not go back to sleep.
Jalalud’din Rumi,
1207-1273, Persian poet
Sid Savara has written a great article about paying yourself first with your time. In short, get up early in the morning and give yourself time working on yourself before everyday life demands your attention.
I feel great when getting up early, if I have received enough sleep that is. The city hasn´t woken up yet and that makes for a good moment to meditate, read, journaling and other things that nourish me.
